I could close my eyes and pick up something from this store, and chances are, it would be great. So happy to have this store in Berlin :)
This colourful and unique place.is worth a visit. They sell amazing Italien produce and products you can't find anywhere else.
Beautiful little shop. Cheese, pasta, sauces, olive oils, cups and saucers. I want it all!
Piece of Italy in the heart of Kreuzberg. Tiny shop with small quantity and few brands of very good Italian products. You can find pasta, chocolate, oils, vinegar and much more!
Give up all your high expectations about this shop. It certainly has some good Italian products, but the choice is very very limited (they have only 1 brand of each product), the products are all overpriced and, main problem of them, the staff service is very poor. Not collaborative, not helpful, very/over-strict on the rule of wearing a mask and trying on tester products at the store, and generally unfriendly. I personally had a very bad experience with them and won't go back again. Italy is something very different from Amore store, in all respects.
Very poor and rude service. Avoid.
I wanted to visit this store for months after seeing them online. Their website has lots of nice things (shirts, grocery items and perfume!) that made me feel reminiscent of when I lived in italy and I wanted to get some items for myself, and as gifts for my family. I finally made it to the shop yesterday afternoon. I sanitized my hands. I wore my mask. I saw that only two people are allowed in the store at a time. I stood outside and when I saw there was nobody in the store I went in to shop. Finally a staff member saw me and we said hello to each other, she seemed friendly. I continued to browse in the second room and picked out what I was going to buy. I got to the perfumes. They had testers on the shelf. I sprayed one, lowered my mask to just under my nose to smell (no exposed mouth), and immediately replaced the mask without touching my face. I was still the only customer in the store, and the only person in the room. There was another perfume I wanted to try so I did the same thing to smell the tester. At this point the staff member came to the room and told me I had to leave the store immediately, and said it was because I had to wear a mask. I was wearing a mask. I understand that their rules must be strict and so I apologized right away and told her I just wanted to smell their perfumes. I am very aware of the need to wear a mask. I have been to several other stores in Berlin trying to find the right perfume and they have all told me to slightly lower the mask just to the nose, take a quick smell and replace the mask. My mouth was never uncovered, and the nose only momentarily, and while I was alone in the shop. I wanted to respect the store’s policies. I apologized again, maybe three times. She still made me leave the store immediately. Instead of asking me not to move my mask, or telling me they don’t allow customers to use/smell the testers that they have sitting on the shelf, she just kicked me out of the store. It was an extremely negative experience after being so excited to come to the store. If you do not want people to use testers in your store, maybe don’t put them out on the shelf. A little kindness and simply asking another human to do something instead of refusing someone to be in your store could have gone a long way. I was very disappointed and saddened that I wasn’t able to buy anything from my list and it soured my entire picture of the store and everything in it. Next time simply telling the customer there is an issue is better than making them leave your store. I wish you all the best, you have a lovely store.
Fantastic range of deli items. Nduja and mortadella were excellent.
Treats.
Really nice shop! Good for gifts.
Might be my favourite store in universe. So many cute things! If you like Italy, pasta, chocolate, olive oil - or just need some inspiration - go there!
A small shop with Italian specialties, which have a correspondingly higher price and are therefore not affordable for the tight budget. Serves the exclusive culinary demands of local residents with corresponding financial possibilities.
Pecorino, Grana Padano, nice guys who turn 4 blocks out front and took care of my bike and then there's Guanciale. It could not be better, right?
Very!
Nice packaging, good advice, perfect gifts
Very pretty little shop with great attention to detail - you can buy a lot of products from Italy here that you can't find anywhere else in Berlin. From pasta to calendars to cheese graters, everything is included, the owner is extremely personable and helpful.
Super shop and a friendly owner who has a great view of her range. Advice was always great and everything was delicious!
Small sweet shop with Italian products.
Curated with love this is store offers delicious, original, and whimsical Italian products. For almost everything in the store, Kerstin has a personal anecdote about how she discovered it on one of her many trips to Italy. If you want Italian without going to Italy - go to Amore <3
